I’m a big believer in slowing down and enjoying life. And the perfect companion is a glass or two of good wine.

These wines celebrate the varieties, the taste and flavours of the Hawkes Bay. This place is unique, the micro-climate, the soil, the geography. It's about knowing how things work around here, local conditions, local influences. With its long sunshine hours and warm summer nights, the Bay's temperate climate produces ripe fruit with balanced acidity.

Our first seasonal release explored the power and finesse of the Hawkes Bay Chardonnay, the wonderful flavour spectrum of Sauvignon Blanc, the art of blending a classic Merlot Cabernet, and I have long admired the style of Alsatian Gewurztraminers and am excited to work with this variety in Hawkes Bay. Now our latest seasonal release includes a Merlot, a Syrah and a Viognier.

These wines are good on their own, but they get along well with everything else.
